Battle Droids

Battle droids are dangerous, cutting edge weapons: the latest thing to come out of the laboratories of Merr Sonn. Almost all battle droids are of sentient size and shape, and have the ability to speak several languages. They have complex artificial intelligences which gives them more "character", like protocol droids. Because of their character, they are known to be a little unpredictable when not fitted with a restraining bolt.

Despite their strong personalities and thus questionable loyalties, some people find battle droids worth the bother. The newest models are terrifyingly deadly with a blaster; it's like buying a fully-trained soldier rather than hiring some untried street thug or a half-rate bodyguard.
