Protocol Droids

In a galaxy of such variety, protocol droids are not a luxury: they are a neccessity of those who do business with the galaxy. Protocol droids are programmed as interpreters, with the ability to understand millions of languages. In addition to speaking with the sentients of the galaxy, protocol droids can act as go-betweens for humans and the languages of computers.

Protocol droids are most often humanoid in shape and posture. They are the most expressive of droids, posessing the servile personalities. As with any droids of highly complex programming, the personalities of protocol droids are often filled with quirks.
